Campus Ambassadors
Safe Squad is seeking Campus Ambassadors, high school and college students who will promote the mission of safety and work to address safety issues on campus. As a Campus Ambassador, you play a crucial role in acting as a liaison between Safe Squad and your campus community, from presenting how to utilize the app to faculty and students to enacting safety-related measures on campus. Campus Ambassadors are passionate about Safe Squad and driven to make a difference on their campus!
Qualifications
- High school or college student
- Ability to devote the time necessary
- Strong Leadership skills and passion for advocacy
- Committed to combatting safety issues
Essential Duties of a Safe Squad Campus Ambassador:
- Be a spokesperson and representative of Safe Squad’s campaigns, presentations, events and outreach efforts
- Facilitate discussions and meetings surrounding the issues on campus
- Promote Safe Squad’s app on your campus and working to address safety issues on campus
- Campaign Safe Squad on Social Media
- Plan and/or Find Promotional Events for Safe Squad to be represented
- Write at least 1 blog article per month on the topic of safety
- Attend tri-weekly Check-in Meetings
